1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Basadi Mosomong Electrical Solutions website and the services provided by our business.
By using this website, submitting an enquiry or requesting our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website or submit an enquiry.
2. Our Services
Basadi Mosomong Electrical Solutions provides electrical services to residential and commercial clients, including:
- Electrical installations
- Fault finding and repairs
- House wiring
- Electrical maintenance
- Distribution board installation and upgrades
- COC inspection and certification
Services are subject to availability, site conditions and the specific requirements of each project.
3. Quotations
All quotations are based on the information available to us at the time of quotation.
A quotation may change where:
- Additional work is identified after an inspection
- The scope of work changes
- Additional materials are required
- Site conditions differ from those originally described
- The client requests additional services
Where additional work or costs arise, we will communicate this with the client where reasonably possible before proceeding.
Unless otherwise stated on the quotation, quotations may be subject to a specified validity period.
4. Site Inspections
Certain electrical services may require a site inspection before a final quotation can be provided.
Information provided through our website, telephone, WhatsApp or email may not be sufficient to determine the full scope of work.
The final scope and cost may therefore be confirmed after an appropriate inspection.
5. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information about the property and the work required.
The client must provide reasonable access to the property and relevant areas where electrical work is required.
Clients should also inform us of any known electrical problems, previous electrical work or other circumstances that may affect the work.
6. Electrical Work
Electrical work can involve inherent risks if existing installations, equipment or property conditions are unsafe or defective.
We reserve the right to stop or delay work where conditions are considered unsafe or where additional work is required to complete the requested service safely.
Any work outside the agreed scope may be quoted separately.
7. Certificate of Compliance (COC)
Where applicable, COC inspection and certification services are subject to the condition and compliance of the electrical installation at the time of inspection.
A COC can only be issued where the installation meets the applicable requirements.
If faults or non-compliant work are identified, remedial work may be required before certification can be considered.
The cost of remedial work is not automatically included in a COC inspection fee unless specifically stated in the quotation.
8. Payments
Payment terms will be communicated to the client in the quotation or invoice.
The client agrees to make payment according to the agreed payment terms.
Additional work or materials requested by the client may result in additional charges.
We reserve the right to suspend work where agreed payments are not received.
9. Materials and Equipment
Materials and equipment supplied as part of a project will be selected based on the requirements of the work and availability.
Where a specific brand, product or specification is requested by the client, this should be communicated before work begins.
Changes in material availability or supplier pricing may affect the final project cost.
10. Delays
While we aim to complete work within agreed timeframes, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Material availability
- Supplier delays
- Power outages
- Severe weather
- Access restrictions
- Unexpected electrical faults
- Additional work discovered during the project
- Other unforeseen site conditions
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays to the client.
11. Warranties and Defects
Where a warranty or guarantee applies to specific workmanship, materials or equipment, the applicable terms will be communicated to the client.
A warranty may not apply where problems result from misuse, unauthorised alterations, damage, external factors or work carried out by another party.
12. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information published on this website is accurate and up to date.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any rights or obligations that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable South African law.
15. Cancellation
Cancellation terms may vary depending on the type and stage of the project.
Where work has already commenced, the client may be responsible for costs already incurred, including labour, materials, call-out fees or other reasonable project-related expenses.
Any cancellation arrangements will be communicated to the client where applicable.
